Description of the Workshop :The workshop was held at Multi-Purpose Hall in International House in the first week (July 1-3) and at Ferrite Hall in Centennial Memorial Hall in the second week (July 6-10) on O-okayama campus of the Tokyo Institute of Technology. |

The organizing committee consisted of Sadayoshi Kojima (TIT), Ken'ichi Ohshika (Tokyo) and Tomoyoshi Yoshida (TIT). The main feature of the workshop was the lecture series, entitled by Daryl Cooper (UCSB), Craig D. Hodgson (Melbourne) and Steven P. Kerckhoff (Stanford), lasting fifteen hours.  |
In addition to this, there were twenty three research talks on related topics. See program section for details. The lecture notes based on the main lecture series will be published in MSJ Memoris series of the Mathematical Society of Japan. We will advertise it here when it is ready. There were 136 participants in total, 40 of them from outside Japan, 56 of them from Tokyo City area and the rest from other parts in Japan. See participants section for details. |
