Etsuya Shibayama

Brief Introduction

I am a professor of the Graduate School of Information Science and Engineering at Tokyo Institute of Technology. I received B.Sc. and M.Sc. in mathematical sciences from Kyoto University in 1981 and 1983, respectively, and D.Sc. in inforamtion science from the University of Tokyo in 1991. I am interested in various topics in computer software including design and implementation of textual and visual programming languages, system software, and user interface software. Also I recently has been doing research on language-based software security and methodologies for building secure software.
