What is CompView?

CompView is a framework of science that rethink various scientific phenomena from the point of view of computation.

Upon the call for proposals for the Global Center of Excellence Program by Japanese government, we propose a research and educational project for establishing the CompView approach and for fostering specialists of the CompView approach. (For details, please see our project proposal (pdf file) and also visit our web page (sorry that some explanations are given in only Japanese).)

Our project proposal was selected as one of the 12 national projects on Information, Electrical and Electronic Sciences of the Global COE program, and we started the project from July of 2007 (for five academic years).
Now we are glad to have this symposium celebrating our successful termination of the project. Please enjoy invited talks, reports from our projects, and our students' achievements!
