The excursion, which is planned by the local organizing committee, will be held on March 31st. All participants in this conference and their accompanying partners are invited to this excursion free of charge.
The destination of the trip is HAKONE. The Fuji Hakone Izu Park is designated as one of the national parks which have been approved by Japanese Government, because this is famous for its scenic beauty. We are expected to visit this park which is located about 80km west of Tokyo and attracts about 19 million tourists a year. Here are several websites which are written in several kinds of languages and share the common information with each other.
The sightseeing areas which we are planning to visit are known to the attendants at NACA2009 later, because it is probable that the itinerary is changed in accordance with a change of the local weather condition at Hakone. Now, we are planning to have a Japanese classical ethnic lunch in the restaurant at the lakeside. Finally, we ask all particpants to put on their own shoes which are comfortable to walk.
