The Sixth International Conference on
Nonlinear Analysis
and
Convex Analysis
March 27-31, 2009
at
Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, JAPAN
In celebration of the retirement of Professor
Wataru Takahashi
The Sixth International Conference on Nonlinear Analysis was
successfully finished. On behalf of the organizing committee, we are
deeply grateful to all the participants for their cooperation.
The Proceedings of the conference NACA2009 will be published by
Yokohama Publishers. All the participants who had a talk in the
conference are invited to submit a paper for this proceedings. Please
send a manuscript to the conference secretariat by email to
naca-submission@mathweb.sc.niigata-u.ac.jp.
Several selected papers submitted to this proceedings will be accepted
for publication in the Journal of Nonlinear and Convex Analysis (JNCA)
through earlier regular process.
If you wish to publish your paper in JNCA, please send the
manuscript no later than
May 31, 2009.
For the submission to the Proceedings, the
final deadline is
June 30, 2009.
After refereeing process, the accepted papers will be assigned
to either JNCA or the Proceedings.
All the papers submitted to the Proceedings are also fully refereed.
The organizing committee look forward to your submission.
The conference is held once in every two or three years with the
tradition of previous meetings held in Niigata (1998), Hirosaki
(2001), Tokyo (2003), Okinawa (2005), Hsinchu (2007), and this time,
it reaches the sixth meeting in Tokyo. The purpose of the conference
is to get together world-wide experts on nonlinear analysis and convex
analysis, to exchange scientific information on generic and applied
areas of the conference, and to discuss recent advances in theoretical
and applicational aspects of such topics.
One of the objectives of the meeting is to honor Professor Wataru
Takahashi for his achievements on the occasion of his retirement from
Tokyo Institute of Techonology at the age of 65.
